Saturday 6th January in the Learning Room at the
\nMuseum of Somerset from 10.30am – 12.30pm.<\/p>\n
As we all know archaeology is the study of the past and in several of
\nour 2023 sessions we looked at the different ways archaeologists record
\nwhat they find.\u00a0 In a fitting start to the New Year we will be looking
\nat the new ways we can use technology to digitally record and spread the
\nnews of the latest archaeological discoveries as they happen!<\/p>\n
Caroline Pathy-Barker will be showing us how to make an Archaeological
\nBlog!\u00a0 We will be thinking about the sort of questions we might need to
\ninclude and recording mini-interviews and uploading them.<\/p>\n
Please could you bring a mobile phones if you have one.\u00a0 To make the
\nblog it would help if we can download an app so if necessary please
\ncould you get permission to do this from your parents\/carers.\u00a0 It would
\nsave time if you could download the app beforehand so we will send out
\nthe link asap.\u00a0 If you don’t have your own phone we can work in teams
\nwith a MAYA Volunteer.<\/p>\n
This will be an exciting session as it will also include the visit from
\nRebecca from YAC HQ who will be talking to us about what we enjoy about
\nbeing a member of MAYA!<\/p>\n
